Orna Alyagon Darr
Orna Alyagon Darr, a senior lecturer, teaches law at the Carmel Academic Center since 2010,where she is also serving as the Dean of Students since 2011.
Her areas of research and teaching include: evidence law, criminal law, criminal procedure, psychiatry and law, and law in historical, cultural and social context.
Before joining the academia Dr. Alyagon Darr was a practicing attorney. She was admitted to the New-York State Bar in 1994, and to the Israeli Bar in 1998.
She practiced law in New-York State and in Israel. Dr. Alyagon Darr is among the founders of the Public Defender's Office in Haifa County.
